There is a big reason why I wanted to take take this course. When I started my job as a digital marketing specialist, company’s CEO asked me “can u help me with SEO and SEM?” It was so akward moment. Of course I knew something about them but not that much. I don’t even remember what I answered. So, that explains why I definitely wanted to take this course and learn everything about online marketing tools. I was astonished because although I am specialized in marketing communications, we didn’t have any courses about SEO and SEM. I was so happy when I notice this online-course!
I got some SEO, SEM and Google Adwords books from Laurea’s library. I want to recommend a few books for all of you:
- Grappone, Jennifer - Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day
- Rebecca Lieb - Content marketing: think like a publisher - how to use content to market online and in social media
- Newlands, Murray- Online marketing: a user’s manual
I like the picture above. It makes SEM and SEO seem so simple! My friend’s company, Suomen Digimarkkinointi has a helpful blogposts about digital marketing (in finnish). You can find their blog here.
This is just the beginning -I recommend you to continue learning -you can find also great Youtube tutorials about Adwords, SEO and SEM (for example here and here).
