Hi! Thank you for this information. Actually I have never thought about what the SEM costs, even though it is, I suppose, quite relevant! I have just learned what it is :) I hoped you would have opened this pricing and fees a little bit, like what all these options are and how do they serve the company? Maybe I dig a little deeper into this when I have time!
VastaaPoistaI'm sure that the paying is worth all the trouble, as the SEM will open so many new eyes. I also haven't heard about the costs before, so this is nice to look at to get a better view of the work!

I'm sure it is worth the money as long as you hire a company that knows what it's doing. Looking at this company's website, I'm not so sure if they are the best bang for the buck. It might be just me but looking at their website and their Design Portfolio I don't feel like hiring them.

The prices don't seem too expensive if you relate it to possible benefits. But this was just one pricing model, it would have been nice to see a few alternatives.
VastaaPoistaSatu, thanks for a very nice blog with a niche topic. Based on my earlier experience as a buyer the prices vary a lot (from a few hundred euros to over 10 000 e). It depends whether you are buying just a "campaign" or if you are outsourcing your SEM/SEO to the vendor for a longer period of time, like a strategic partnership.
VastaaPoistaHowever, I would suggest to either
1) do everything yourself or
2) buy from a high quality vendor with good references (often expensive). This often provides better results.
I have worked with companies like Tulos and Estime and both of them I can recommend. Go check them out if you need a good partner, or if you want to learn more. They have great blogs too.
